I'm looking for something like a Hatsan air stripper, any local sources that won't break the bank?

Yes he does, but he had a lot of spare time while his leg was healing. It takes a lot of machining to make one from scratch by hand. I bet he spent a day on it so it would be an expensive stripper.

I don’t think we’re allowed to buy them here.... normally people pay by the hour.

Sorry, couldn’t resist.

Click bait!
I ended up getting one from PA with a few other things. Don’t believe I’ve seen them in Canada for some time
I would be interested in another one too

I'm looking for something to sit on the end of a Artemis PCP - I think I have a LR700 barrel, 12mm diameter and .22 cal.
I may make one for myself, but I remember Sniper used to sell them dirt cheap - shoudlda bought a dozen. :drinkers:

I made this one myself but it required
1) a lathe,
2) a milling machine,
3) a bead blasting cabinet,
4) anodizing,
5) all day.

It slightly decreased average group size on the Indy 0.22 but the rifle got louder from the shooter's perspective.
It's hard to tell from the photo but the conical end of the threaded insert is VERY sharp.
It seems to work best (shrinking group size) when it's screwed in to leave a 1/8" gap at the outer housing.

Overall, a worthwhile project!
A labor of love, really.

I see lots of 1/2-28 in Canada but I haven't found the 1/2"-20unf for some reason.
