200 received today in 4 boxes of 50.

They are the previous style of CO2 cylinder, closely resembling the Umarex ones (like the ones photographed on their website). Not like the Crosman type they previously sent out.

Are really needed, as getting very hard to find Umarex 12 gm. CO2 in Canada at reasonable prices, for us bulk users of CO2. Hopefully this will hold me until fall.

Thank you Melanie.

FYI, I had a couple of old Tactical Crusader brand 12 gm. CO2, that I bought years ago at Princess Auto kicking around. The Mosa CO2 from ICO are exactly the same shape. Both of which are close to Umarex CO2. And the TC CO2 always performed well in all my Umarex airguns.

i just popped out a MOSA 12g from a Glock 19 BB pistol
it went in weighing
..40.98g and came back empty as..
.-28.44g
=12.54g CO2

i've got a Crosman CO2 weighed out and powering a current pistol, (one of the 3 charged right now).. and i'm keen to see what their 12g CO2 comes in at.

Thank you Melanie

Wow! The price on these 12g CO2 bulbs from ICO Trading sure has increased. I paid $27.95 per 50 bulbs earlier in the year with free shipping on orders over $50. The price per 50 bulbs is now $44.95. A 60% increase! The deal was very good for all the years it lasted. I might have ordered another 200 if I knew this was coming.

Yes, I was a bit shocked when I saw the new price. I know that everything goes up in price & prices has been rising a lot during Covid, but these generic CO2 are now more than I can buy name brand CO2 locally.

I suppose all good things must eventually come to an end.

I'm glad I bought 200 at the old price.

Anyone know where the best price for CO2 now is? Since I go thru around 300 of the 12 gram CO2 a year, I try to look around for the best prices. Is it Princess Auto with Crosman CO2 @ $29.99 for a 40 box?

I am not a big CO2 user, but Princess Auto is where I buy mine.

I am biased since I always like shopping there and usually walk out with more than was on my shopping list...

I ordered 500 a "few" years back and still have a good amount left. Have yet to encounter a dud. One important thing to remember is that these don't have any oil in them like air gun specific ones do/should? so they won't oil the seals though use.

Regarding the price increase, unfortunately shipping costs have gone through the roof. A tea company in Toronto recently posted about maybe having to sell the business because of them. Here is an excerpt.
Quote:
pre-covid, cargo cost was $6000.
3 months ago, shipper told me the cargo cost to Toronto is $14000,
more than double of the cost.
the Newest cost per cargo, one week ago: $24000 (another double in 2 weeks)

It is sad that the prices have gone up so much. Hopefully they can go back to some semblance of the normal rates they used to be. I wonder if this is another cost of the ship blocking the Suez Canal. So much money was lost by everyone that they might have raised the rates to try and recoup some costs.

Yes, you are right Joe. But just keep in mind that the Suez Canal blockage mostly just effected Europe. Very few North America goods come that way. Most come across the Pacific from Asia to west coast ports. Some for the east coast come thru the Panama Canal.

Regardless, their prices for generic CO2 is a bit out of line with what you can buy name brand CO2 locally.

Just ordered 100 from ICO, it is the best price I've seen lately. $94.40 with free shipping for 100 units.

Wow, all sold out in one day! Hopefully they get more inventory without a further price increase.
