Picked up my new toy from the post office this morning, the FX Pocket Radar Chronograph from Airgun Source in Peterborough, and tested it out. This will be used mainly for my 22lr in addition to my S510.

This will be great not having to set up the Shooting Chrony for velocities 1300 fps or less according to FX.

Some pictures and screen shots using CCI Quiet-22 (advertised 710 fps) and SV (advertised 1070 fps) .

It's why I bought this over the Labradar; cheaper and very compact and portable.

Yep~ and what you got is the improved so called MK2 version.

However it's still a bit pity to see they added a bracketl only and no change on the battery power supply mode... Just hoping they can provide li-ion built-in rechargable batteries just like all other small electrics now a days...

I can only imagine this is just the start of the future of chronograph and I'm sure FX and other companies will come out with new and improved versions.

That's quite likely, now. Talking with a local chap who has the first model. He contacted FX and they sent him the new bracket, free of charge. Split the unit, put the bracket in
put it back together and done.

Actually didn't see FX taking it seriously maybe due to its value to other FX products? We can't get much support from FX for this tiny unit... The FX support team email is no more being monitored and asking us to fill in the online forms which doesn't include the FX radar chrony for you to choose...

I just changed to a new phone and found out that I can restore or save move every data like apps, chat logs, contacts.. everything...from my old phone (S8) to the new one (S9). But I lost every shooting string records as there's no such function on the app for you to transfer the data...

And I like the chrome can have below functions too...

1. Built in rechargeable li-ion battery using USB for quick charges...
2. I can review the data, shooting strings without connecting the unit...
3. Data backup and restore
4. Show both energy and velocity data (or more other data) together on the same record

I wish someone had one locally I could test. I had my F1 out today, testing some 9x19 loads. Kept on Getting ERR 9, and very low 300 ish velocity readings. I really wanted me to throw the chrony down the range.
