Just wondering if anyone has tried the 13gr and 16gr JSB .177 and can compares their length to JSB 10.34 pellet. My concern is using them in hatsan mags, as I love my AT44 and pellet length is an issue. Thanks

10 gr.... 0.250"
13 gr.... 0.265"
16 gr.... 0.294"

I'm pretty sure the .177 AT44 mag. is the same thickness as the .22 and .25 cal.... 0.425"....

Thanks bob.

Another question bob

You wouldn’t know that head diameter of the 13&16gr ? My hatsan loves 4.52 sizes pellets the 4.53 over rotate and give that spirual tragectory and 4.51 tend be create larger group sizes. Thanks

Nope, no idea.... Barrels prefer what they prefer.... I have never found a significant difference in head sizes.... Perhaps that is because the QC of those sizes is, IMO a joke.... I have bought tins marked 4.52 and found pellets all the way from 4.48 to 4.56, with the majority NOT 4.52....

Thanks Again Bob. I’ve never got around to measuring them but I just might try it out.

Were they standard JSB Diabolo's that you measured, Bob?
Those, in 8.44gr. shot huge groups compared to the same 4.51mm 8.44gr. Cometa, JSB Match pellets which group into 1/10" to 2/10's at 20 yards from the HW97.

They were not match pellets, but they were marked for head size.... I bought 3 different sizes of Exacts, in both .177 and .22, and decided it was a total waste of time.... YMMV of course....
