Any one know where one can get these Gamo .177 Cal, 8.2 Grains, Round Lead Balls in Canada? Looking to try to use in my new Barra 1866 Cowboy rifle that takes both BBs & pellets. Is a bit tricky to load pellets and prefer not to use steel BBs as it has a rifled barrel, and I understand steel BBs will ruin the rifling over time.

But worried they may not load properly as gun uses magnet to hold BB in the chamber.

Out of stock at Oshoot.

Does anyone know if the new Excite Smart Shot copper plated lead BBs, or Dust Devils alloy frangible BBs will ruin the rifling in the barrel?

Also, anyone know how may shots with steel BBs you can put thru a rifled barrel, before you start to damage the rifling.

Thanks

D&L have them in .22. You could mail them and ask about .177's and if they are getting any in.
Copper plating is just a copper wash. They "should" not harm your rifle, any more than the copper 'plated' pellets do.
I would never shoot steel BB's through a rifled tube.
