Purchased from the gravel agency. Seriously? Very poor product. The plug is 0.005” oversized and I had to pry it out of the breech. Not sure how I am supposed to “install” it as the instructions read so nonchalantly.

Well that was productive.

Are you just venting, or looking for a solution? Pictures (clear ones) usually help if the latter is on the table.

Both :D. I posted here because I have not seen anything similar online. The plug is supposed to slide in easily. I don’t know what pictures I could take that would be helpful though. The diameter of the plug is just bigger than the hole in the breech.

If the part is not buggered, you might try contacting Gravel with the problem.

As you had to "pry" it out, it's more likely that it could now use some "prettying up" lol.

You should be able to clean it and attach the plug to a dowel with epoxy...as a means to hold it while you file/sand on it.

Heating it will release the epoxy.

In hindsight, perhaps it would have been better to tap it out with a rod inserted through the breech?

Good luck,

Should be more pissed off at Crosman, They are the one that make it ( unless they contract it out to China ) Gravel is just the Crosman distributor, and just sells the product.
