Truth...

We had this guy that used to shoot PPC with us. Had to have the latest greatest gear. He was soo slow, that he was close to being dangerous. He bought this 4000$ SVI pistol and fired a shot at us ( verbally ) that hes gonna beat us.. We laughed at him.

I see this all the time. Where people will have the best gear, and look like they are seal team 6, but they cannot shoot.

nothing new there that happens with many things if life not just airguns... :roll: :lol:
nothing wrong with having the best of something but pay your dues first... :wink:

Problem now is, they don't pay their dues. Equipment cannot beat skill.

Shooting skill being equal, the one with the best equipment is usually going to win. Just math. So there is merit to having good gear.

Shooter1721 will agree with that statement. Trick shots with all sorts of quality rifles. If you take the time to learn a gun, and it’s tendencies. A good shooter can use any tool.

That’s not the point, it’s for the ankle benders buying themselves best equipment, thinking their game will improve.

Obviously the better the tool, in the right hands, will be easier to use than something of lesser quality. But the tool does not make the man.
