Hi, I'm Rob from Calgary.

I'm just getting into shooting airguns.

Back when I was in my teens in the '80s, every week I would shoot .22's (303's with 22 inserts and Anshutz) with the Air Cadets. Competed a bit, and did quite well. Back then I also shoot rurger pistols and some other stuff (it was a different time, and I lived on a base).

I'm a CIC officer with cadets and am in the process of taking over my units marksmanship program. I recently attended an air rifle marksmanship coaching course.

Not having much experience on air rifles, I have purchased one similar to what the cadets use for my own practice. I'm also intrigued by ISSF 10m competition and hope to get involved in competing with that myself.

Hey Rob, welcome! The AIRFT has a fun shoot on Feb 09 @ 1:00 at the Calgary Rifle and Pistol Club. It'll usually run until around 4 or 5. You can PM myself or rocker45 for more info.
