well a while ago I was going to buy a umarex walther ppq pellet pistol. but I waited and waited and put it off. and what did I get today -- a notice from umarex about a new walther ppq. namely the umarex walther ppq m2. it,s got a 20 shot belt fed pellet magazine- blowback -. looks like it might have been worth waiting for. it,s on pre-order at pyramid air but will probably be in Canada soon. I can wait a little longer.

I suspect it has a similar systems as found in the Sig M17 & others Sig pellet gun.

In my opinion, mush better systems than the 8 shot rotary clips.

even though sold as action shooters, belt fed pellet guns like a more deliberate trigger pull, considering what is has to move and do.

no issues for me and my Sig 320 w 20 & 30 rd mags.

I just sold my sig m17 belt fed gun. I absolutely hate selling a gun. I liked shooting it and the looks of it but it was a little bit big and bulky. this is a walther. it should be a little more compact which is more of what I,m leaning to. so the money from it will be paying for this one.

I have the first generation PPQ pellet/b.b.
For a Walther with pellets it just squeaks the grade.
It is nicely compact. The sights are somewhat over sized , especially the too wide rear. Very mushy pull on it. I don't shoot it much. The Beretta 92 F is much more accurate. ...

Good luck with the new model.

Hi
those belt fed anything are a giant step backwards, I have 2 sigs. My nephew really loved them so I purchased them. The stacked rotary type magazines like the new Blow Back PPQ has is going to be so fa, the most reliable. And a hell of a lot more fun then that Pellet/BB old Non-Blow Back version. No pellet selection as it's totally jammable.
Hopefully they have a home run from that very cultish PPQ style walther. One day they will make the semi-auto replicas all true gas operated pellet pistols. Like the old true semi 600s of the past.
Cheers !

From my experiences, belt fed magazines like Sig uses for its pistols & semi-auto rifles like the MPX & MCX, seem to work better if pellets are carefully placed in belt and properly seated. The MPC & MCX give you a seating tool, but don't use it on the pistol belts as it will jam the pistol. Just use your fingers & maybe a ball point pen. And only use flat head/wadcutter lighter weight pellets (less than 7.5gr.).

And stop when the CO2 starts losing power.

If you follow these rules, I find you will minimize your jams and will have less pellets left in belt after shoot.

My experiences based on suing M17, MPX, and X-Five.

One thing that kept me back a little is the jams from these type of clips.. I wanted the M17 but was hesitant. But still thinking about one.

Strangely, perhaps, but not yet identified as "Ships to Canada."

My belt feed Sig M17 has almost no misfires latly. I've been putting grease under the belt, if seated right, i really have no problem.

Just received one Saturday. First time shooting it I hated it. Second co2 cartridge later and it's not bad.
