Hi,

When I was very young, I would see these 1894's in the back pages of comic books. They were not sold in Canada. Mr Marvin made owning these possible. :D

I concur, very nice.

I gave up trying to find a NRA Centennial 179 Pistol, so I paired my Daisy 1894 NRA with a Umarex Colt CO2 Pellet Peacemaker 7.5" Barrel, NRA Edition, I got on sale at Replica Airguns.

In my opinion, the Umarex Colts are 10x nicer a shooter than the 179's. And the price was close to what I would have finally paid for a used one.

Hi,

Appreciated comments.

The new Umarex Colts are (almost) perfect replicas of the SAA. I really enjoy mine. :D

I searched for the Daisy, just for the memories. Over the years, Mr. Marvin has had a couple. They are very hard to find in good condition. Although so much attention was paid to the aesthetics, they are just low velocity, catapult guns. They were made for kids for plinking. So many never survived...now a collectors item.

Wow gorgeous and historic. The stand you have the gun on caught my eye . I have a few rifles I want to display in my office and have shelves and mantle already. What would I search for if i wanted to buy a similar stand ? Trying to avoid making one myself as I am limited time and want it to actually look even :-P Thanks!

Hi Matt,

I couldn't find a stand that I liked, so I had to design it. I made it from Walnut.
