I cleared a 20M path through the snow bank... does that count?

Had to re stuff my target box and did some pellet testing on my Pp700sa, unfortunately I’ll need to put in a better back stop before I do too much more basement shooting.

Like a protective if you accidentally miss? Plywood or MDF sheet. For traps I like plywood and MDF. and modifying milk crates.

No the actual backing material, I was using carpet and old shirts but kept blowing through them into my 3/4” plywood back. I going to have to switch to duct seal.

Duct seal is great.

Wouldn't have guessed that under the 'plain factory stained finish' of the Benjamin Trail stock that such interesting 'wood figuring' was there. Definitely well done Duke and 'one of a kind' configuration airgun rifle. What's the caliber ?

I’ve built a basement range as well. Been getting familiar with my CR600W. Was a great gun to start with and after adding the front barrel band it got really tight. Here’s some 5 shot groups from today.

Gave the M22 bore a few cleaning patches , greased the bolt and prepared my day trip kit. Also i replaced the boot that functions as my pellet trap

I finished my pellet trap with an 8x8 cake pan and 7lbs of duct seal and added a handle so it’s more portable. Also put two boxes of baking soda in a bag with the wooden parts off my tau 7, buying off a smoker sucks.

Today I tied up a few more beer cans in the woods out back. Brought the daisy red ryder out of retirement and my son and I shot them so full of holes they fell apart. Lots of fun. I wouldn't call it an accurate rifle, but being able to fire it as fast as you can cock it means for some fast paced can carnage!

Today I made a valve tool for my Benjamin 310 and took the valve components out. Except obviously for the synthetic seals, all parts are in very good condition.

The guy with the busted gun....



It's a Crosman 101. Gun was received with a contact cement repaired hard red rubber pump handle that promptly separated. That job can be done when I can find the wood to match up a bit.

In the mean time, the pivot pin and it's retainer spring are worn beyond the point of repairing, or modifying. This system refuses to stay put. The end result of that is pretty erratic shot to shot velocity~ better than 150 fps difference....



There's the worn parts there. The retainer clip is pretty well mush, and does not hold the pivot pin in place. The rotating pin is making ellipses in the holes in the brass tube .



I sacrificed one of my Chinese machinist's bits to make a tapered pivot pin. Not shown are the grooves I cut into it for e-clip retainers. All I have to do now is find my stash of e-clips.

She still wants to shoot with friction alone holding the tapered pin in place.



I was aiming for the pull ring tab rivet at 12 M with the 14.3 gr Daisy h/p's. Close enough as the gun is currently sighted in for the 18.1 gr JSB Heavy.
