[emoji14] didn't notice the weight of the P210... Just being cheated by how it looks like in the picture as it looks 'slim' in the camera...

Weight isn't a big deal if the gun is balanced. My CZ SP01 with reddot is 1100G w/o mag, 1174 G with mag, 1248G with 6rds.

Actually a regular blued Sig 220 is only 862G, the stainless steel model is 1130G
226 is 964G. So the 220 is 102G lighter.

I know how you feel about vision, the wife tells me I ought to have my glasses on when I shave. Maybe I'd see all the odd-hairs growing on my ears

I can still the front sight, so I'll stick to open sights as long as I can. When that's done, I guess I'll move on to red-dots

I can see the front sight, but it doesn't focus even with glasses. Gotten worst the last several months. It requires straining my eye to get it to focus, which gets tiring. Ever just day dream? Sure you can see everything, just nothing really focused. Thats what it's like.

Looks my eye isn't the worst one as I can still focus the front sight well and barely can tell the bullseye from the 2 inch size target 10 yards away however I use scopes only on my rifles and do much better with my scoped P3 ( that's so heavy with a scope on a pistol even just a light weight polyner frame P3/HW40 SSP)....

I gave up dot sights long time ago as I don't like the dot covers the target and the dot looks like a star in my eye...

That a sign of a astigmatism star or a comma. Also cheaper reddots are not the best for dot quality. For a pistol, I like to pick a smaller MOA dot. I know the IPSC guys I shoot with, they are running a 6 or 8 MOA dot. I run a 3. Takes me a little longer to line up, but it's more precise.
