Yes i bought it used from someone on here, it does look like a soda can but why would that be in there? And where would it be

It would be inside the piston, to make the spring a tighter fit which reduces vibration. I quite like the idea but am a bit concerned if it is too tight the liner might be held back by the spring while the piston lunes forward when firing.

Yeah im not sure at all i don't have experience with these guns.
But it does go back far enough to corck it so besides that i dont know that piece of metal came out when i had it apart from the trigger part and figured that was causing my issue and put it back together and never took the trigger apart or anything else i guess i was wrong.
Here is my email if someone wants to send me more info.

Have you tried cocking the rifle while pushing forward on the trigger?
Is the trigger operating properly, returning after being pulled, or is it in the "fired" backwards position?

It looks to me like a piece of pop can. So maybe it was tuned using a spring sleeve/piston liner made from a pop can which has become mangled, and preventing the rifle from cocking properly and allowing the trigger sear to latch on. You better strip it and have a look inside.

I agree with Duke..
