If the government didnt ban our guns. There wouldn't be these threads. It effects us all as shooters.

No where did I say this place should be CGN. I know, I've been a member since the start. I know how it is. But CAF shouldn't be limited either. If it slings lead, it's related and will be effected. Unfortunately only one party is supporting us. So it's hard not to be political. Because every other party is against us.

I thought we were OK, as we're not political, but simply discussing rules and regulations that affect us all (or sure will eventually)

Which is why the mods allow it. As long as it remains a discussion of laws, and what can be done about them, and not a "vote for my party you a####le" kind of a deal, it should be fine.

Polls have shown the Canadian people do not support the gun policies of the current government.
The petition https://petitions.ourcommons.ca/en/Peti ... ion=e-2574 is now over 222,000 signatures. A far cry from what it should be, but it is a new record.

For those that figure they only shoot airguns so why support firearms, take a look through the FRT. You will find some nasty surprises.

I am not going to dig through these post and say yes or no nor am i going to get into what i call political...The reason political post are not aloud is the fight that happens every time that's all ...thing here are civil which is fine by me

Update

Several sources have confirmed that on June 15th, 2020 the legal classification of the Derya Arms MK12 (FRN 141379) was changed to Prohibited in the live Firearms Reference Table. The cited legal authority is PFR, Part 1, para. 87 (variant of an AR10, AR15, M4, or M16). All configurations are affected.

The firearm model known as the Derya Arms MK12 Professional (FRN 190359), is still being listed as Non-Restricted in the live Firearms Reference Table as of June 16th, 2020 at 4:41PM EST.

It should be noted that in the live FRT for the Derya Arms MK12 it states:
"the design of this semi-automatic box magazine feed shotgun resembles but is not a variant of the AR15."
Similar to other recently reclassified Turkish shotguns, the RCMP will likely claim that the MK12 is a variant of the AR10.
