yeah.... I didn't think of I really need to use sich a tiny engraving head for the job and it's so different than what I watched on YouTube... luckily after 'sanding' lightly with 0000 steel wool after making the holes and stained, it turns out not that bad and feel very comfortable in hands...

Putting everything together yesterday and made some test shots with some different pellets and letting the FX Chrony to record some muzzle speed at the same time...

Shooting was done using the original open sight from 9 yards away half rested (knee down with bench). Scope on the picture just for picture and she's still waiting the Discovery HD 10x44 fixed power from Wes which may get here in Tuesday as Monday is holiday I think...

It surprisingly loves the R10 which gives strongest power to 8.1fpe, fastest 728fps (avg 720fps) and tightest group. But over all not picky at all... Will try more other pellets in the house to see if it loves something else too...

I forgot to put on a new cardboard paper... So there were many other holes from other guns and pellets on the paper. Generally speaking I just very very satisfied on the accuracy... Waiting to see how good it would be with a scope... ImageImageImageImageImageImage

Yeah - that's nice. An exceptionally nice more-modern match rifle.
I had a Feinwerkbeau 150 Tyrolean that also liked the R10's the best.
This is a much older rifle than your M300.

Dear postman keep working in the holiday and brought me the scope in the morning!!

Just finished mounting it initially as it looks I still need lost of adjustments on everything to find a balance point to shoot accurately and comfortably...

The scope looks need to stay fully covering the loading port, however looks not much affecting me to load with the mid profile rings comes with it... ImageImageImage

Looks great and begging to be shot. If you find that your not able to get a good cheek weld, you may have to add one spacer to lift the cheek piece some. The head is a little higher with the scope than it is with open sights.

Make sure you get your eye relief right as well, or you will be staining your head forward or back and that negatively impacts accuracy. You should be able to shoulder the gun comfortably, look through the scope and see the full sight picture, without a black rim around it.

Have fun

I tried adding the cheek piece inserts, but looks that's too high and thinking maybe I just need 1 1/2 high, not double the inserts...

And as you said, the sight pictures, cheek spot, shouldering, etc etc...

Yeah... That's why I think I still have lots to adjust.... Finding a comfortable spot is very important...

5.shots R10 with scope...

Still looking for a better position to put everything on track... I saw someone else can do just one single hole as big as the 0pellet 25 meters away.... Image

I'm sure someone else can do just that but it isn't me and I'm impressed with what you can do with it. That's great shooting and great accuracy. :drinkers:

Keep on testing pellets...

The previous 5 shots R10 was just for checking the grouping after zeroing the scope with R10...

Tested the heavy Baracuda... Making the gun a prefect non PAL one as 499 fps and energy dropped to 6.5fpe. Still very very good accuracy...

Then just finished the JSB express (I found last time I thought that's an Express should be a RS... Messed up as I got some open cans putting together... )

This Express is GOOD! Although energy dropped a bit from 8fpe to 7.5fpe (7.0g vs 7.87g, and 720fps vs 660fps), but looks more accurate..... (Maybe a little because the domed head makes snaller hole than the flat nose...). 7 shots group below...

That's just impressive.... Image

Shame to admit I can only offer 9 yards to this great shooter.... Keep putting pellets into the same hole at this distance with the FWB just effortless tho....
