In the process of looking for a Canadian retailer/distributor of JSB pellets that:

Has a good amount of stock and is not continually sold out,
A good price and
Will not gouge on shipping.

Can anyone help with your experience.

Having look at the Canadian Airgun Forum Store. The tin cover looks like old stock and a hefty $40.00 shipping fee.

Buy lots and it will lower the average.
Sniper has been running a great forum store for as long as I can remember. Heck, he's old school and probably is using the same pictures since 2005. Suggest you PM him and ask for a price shipped. :drinkers:

What I did was putting everything I wanted and checked out as normal, then choose 'money order' as payment method.

You will then receive the order number in no time through the email address you left.

Then contact Dan for a total amount including actual shipping and pay via EMT.

As I am in the Toronto too. Dan uses local express service which I got my order within 24 hours in the next morning.... That's normal in China when you buy online but unbelievable would happen in Canada! I was surprised every time!

I've bought JSB pellets from airgunsource.ca a couple times in the past 12 months.

The last time i ordered was April 18th, 2020. No delays but things may have changed since then, thanks to pandemic.

Since you do not have a location listed, it is hard to know which source to suggest.
I have ordered pellets from WesB from Sask. and from D&L in Richmond, BC, both will good service.
Order from an outfit close to you to cut down on shipping would be a normal suggestion.

The Airgun Forum Store's $40 shipping is a default amount. Every time I've bought pellets from there I've paid only the actual shipping.

Surely no one thinks that the many CAF members who've patronized the Forum Store pay $40 shipping when the cost is less.

It helps to know how shipping costs are calculated for small business and personal use. Two tins costs about the same to ship as 10 tins, so always buy large quantities unless the item has free shipping. As to the charge of $40, well if you were buying 100 tins then it would be a bargain. Sniper is not looking to gouge anyone on shipping, and what the forum members who have dealt with CAF store have told you, is he will charge you actual shipping. How would you like it shipped? You need to specify cheapest way to get the cheapest shipping, or fastest way to get the fastest shipping.. and pay accordingly.
I reiterate, CAF store has been supporting us since the dawn of CAF, and always provides good service and satisfaction.
PM or email Sniper.

From what I thought I understood on this link was that it was a default payment and it would be offset but that is not yet happened I’m trying communicate with them and sent emails but no response yet. If I thought this is only for volume based orders would have chosen another Canadian supplier my mistake

Bought pellets online for years, CAF store never charged more than other suppliers.

I took the advantages as I live close to Sniper Dan, and usually my shipping for about 10 tins pellets were 12 bucks.
