You may get $80 worth of scope for $80 - the Diana is just a name printed on a box with a cheap Chinese scope inside. I'd get a Discovery scope from AAF - they have been vetted by Wes, and are liked by CAF members so you know they are good.

You get what you pay for with scopes. My recommendation is spend a tiny bit more and buy a Hawke scope instead, the Vantage is a great starting point and quality is there and have a lifetime warranty.

I’d also consider Dukemiesters advice on discovery, he usually knows what he’s talking about. I have not tried them myself.

I had a Diana 3x12-50. Everything inside fell apart before a tin of pellets was through it and was also covered in moisture.

Liking my Discovery so far, several thousand through it now.

I'll second the motion on Hawke scopes.

My 4X32 fixed power has the clearest glass I've ever seen. Sharp image right to the edge.

I agree Hawke scope are nice but out of my budget now looking at some scopes made by Chinese company Discovery some of their models look very interesting for about 200 CAD
VT-1, VT-2, and HD,HI models.
