frt sight is askew, canted towards one o'clock position. (as seen from the driver's seat)

plastic. friction fit? epoxied on?

I gave it all the tug I was going to without chk'ing w you guys as to the fix.

Second thing, that can't be good... couldn't resist that either.
With that much cant, and if there is no visible set screw, then some heat and a twist may be necessary. But, it may be easier to remove it completely by tapping it straight off and then reinstall it straight. Any road, it has to be fixed. HIH. :drinkers:

Thx for feedback. There is no set screw. I'll try heat first.
What kind of heat?
Heat gun warm? Or hairdryer hot?

I got this rifle a few years back w a cheap scope. Took the scope off today and wondered why I couldn't get the rear sight over enough.

Today I'm tagging basement targets with..
