Yes! THAT specific thread is a great source of actual real world 100 yard air rifle shooting. THANK-YOU.

I read that entire thread, and it is fabulous. Most of it is a long series of postings by a shooter who was provided a Daystate Red Wolf in .22 caliber, and whose interest right now is specifically finding a "multipurpose" rifle that he can use for field target, pesting, and long range target shooting. As a result of the FIVE THOUSAND rounds he shot throughout the 7 to 8 week time period of the thread, under both controlled and windy conditions, he is trying to figure out how to pay for the rifle so he can keep it. I can see why too. That rifle does shoot better than 1 moa, AND he was able to adjust it to the 3 power levels he wants. He also found it is pretty accurate with slugs as well as pellets, although its 42 ft lb maximum power limits the weight of slugs he can use. He seems to be ok up to 23 grains. I imagine the HP (high power) version of the Red Wolf would delete that slug weight limitation.
On top of the performance, the Red Wolf also looks fabulous - much nicer to my eyes than the rather "industrial" FX Impact.
This is a worthy candidate if I could figure out how to fund it out of my retirement budget without upsetting my wife too much.
