The 16" barrel looks great on that carbine. Nice wood work!

Yes, it was the barrel you have machined and I love the crowning, and fitting into the breech is perfect, no burs and fits perfectly, muzzle end is perfect also on my muzzle break that I put in no play or what so ever.

And BTW, with the longer barrel, can we still put back on the original shround? Hoping the shround can provide some extra support to the long barrel along the way and a bigger base for mounting scope...

Wasn’t the original barrel held in place by a bit threaded on to the barrel? Maybe a press in delrin bushing or something?

Yes, the original shroud is held by the bit threaded to the barrel, so I won't be putting it back, its too short anyway now, carbon fiber tube or wrap would actually be more practical and nicer for this, I'm still looking for my carbon fiber tube around here, if I cant find it, I'll use wrap to make it nice.

I’m going to be cutting a crowning a bunch of barrels as well as fitting some carbon fibre sleeves today. Hopefully I can get a good chunk of them done today and sent back to Wes within the next few days. I’m headed for holidays next week so there will be a bit of a time hiccup with some of the other projects Wes and I are working on together. Thank you for your support guys!!!

Looks great!
The barrel is not quite 16" long, and the barrel runs the full length inside the breech, and gets a lot of support and rigidity that way, plus it's a thicker barrel than the original so it stiffens it up. I do have a couple M11 barrel bands here I believe that would work with a 15mm carbon fiber tube slipped over the barrel.

Next batch of 16” barrels for Artemis pp700sa in production. They will be threaded 1/2-20unf to accept the Hatsan Airstrippers that Wes has. Bulk of them are .177 and there is a .22 in the mix as well. I have tried to attach photos but files are too big apparently. If you go to Instagram and search the hashtag #landsngrooves you can see photos there. Cheers!

If you are using cellphone to check forums, try to use Tapatalk. It's not a good app, however there looks the only choice provided for some convenient access to forums....

When you post photos using Tapatalk, the new version would let you choose different (snaller) size to upload...
