mystery resolved, was trying to adjust the focus on the scope of my 97 and it just wouldn't move, noticed the missing screw, now added on :roll:

replaced the el cheapo scope with a leapers i had for it, mounted on a straight weaver rail and got rid the compensator rail, seems this rifle has no barrel droop , adjusted and took two 5 shot group at 75 feet, i used JSB exacts, i'm happy with the results :D
