Help please

I was trying to remove the Cylinder hinge lockscrew to remove the cylinder and replace the breech seal. Tried with several Allen key to get it to unscrew and it would not budge. After several attempts, now no allen key will work as he hole on the screw is round. how can i now get this screw removed?

If there was lock tight on the pivot bolt you need a heat gun to get it warm first then try to remove .I don't know how bad you striped that but you may have to use a Bolt Screw Extractor or if you can safely cut a slot a cross the head of bolt you can use a flat head screw driver ..I have not worked on a 48 for over 20 years so not sure of there assembly any more ..

Invest in a set of screw extractors. They are just as important as your other tools and a must have item.

You're local CanTire store might have some options for an extractor. You can carefully heat up the screw with an electric soldering iron.
