Can't say I really ever seen a Mosin in Canada with a leather sling. Chances are they would just came with the canvas sling.

Plus you can get them in Canada for next to nothing, since you could buy a Mosin for 100$ and came with sling, pouches. Alot of people just put them in aftermarket stocks, and do nothing with the slings. Buying in Canada is way cheaper than some US parts place.

Tradex, Marstar had them under 20$ CAD.

Plus I never heard of a M1898/31 Mosin. There is a M91 built in 1898.
