A guy on another forum asked about feedback on these scopes. I have both so I replied to him, then he asked if I could take pictures of the viewed image at same magnification on both scopes. He was told the image seemed smaller on the 2-7x32 than on the 3-9x40 at same mag. I setup a little photo session and came back to him with pics, with which he was very happy. Then he made a collage of the pictures for a quick comparative view and posted it. Here it is, thanks to Patrick (HotSauce) on the GTA for the photo work:

Pretty close to my eyes. How stiff is the AO to adjust on the 2-7x32mm?

It's stiff, but not like something is wrong. Rather I feel close tolerances and good quality. I have this scope on a non-PAL Diana 24C, never had a problem, and I'm guessing this scope can take much more punishment than it does on my mild Fraulein.

The magnification looks the same to my eyes.... but the 2-7X has a slightly wider field of view (both at 7X), IMO....
