I've found "forgotten" ammo for guns I no longer own... But never the wrong caliber in any given box (PB or airguns)

Once I found a .22 pointed pellet in a tin of .177 flathead pellets. Can't exactly remember which brand it was. Might have been Gamo.

Also, once got a 1250 carton of Crosman .177 wadcutter pellets that ended up being about 35% .177 hollowpoint pellets. Seller was kind enough to provided me with a new carton of wadcutters.

But two errors out of tens of thousands of pellets I have gone thru is nothing. There are probably many different types of pellets going down assembly lines in factories.

Either deja vu, or somebody recently posted about a similar experience.
But, as an old F#&t - recent could be anywhere within 5 years and I could also have dreamed it.

Only airgun-related mix-up I've ever had was ordering some "practice grade" 10M targets, and receiving "competition grade" 10M targets.
- There was a note from the seller saying he upgraded my order as the other ones were back-order 8)

On the other hand, I've lost track of how many times I've gone to the restaurants and they gotten the orders mixed-up

I don't recommend buying targets, Or pellets, at a restaurant.

Never bought pellets or targets at a restaurants... But I did buy and sell a few PB

A club/bullseye league I used to belong to, we'd often go for a bite after the Friday night shoot... Next thing you, someone would be asking "know anyone selling..." or "know anyone looking for..."

i found 177 in a tin of .22 crossman hollow points. the 177 was a hollow point as well. they should have it like a contest find the wrong caliber pellet in your tin and win a free airgun.
