I am thinking about ordering the FX pocket Chrony from Airgun Source. But I am a little concerned about how it works, all the tests I've seen are on .177 or .22 rifles, but I was hoping to use it on my twin tube 9mm. Do you guys think it would still work with the twin tube or would it be too far from the barrel then? I might still get it for my small rifles either way because it is a cool unit.

Well I think it would work. Because I use mine on a tripod, that I shoot several inches over it.

It’ll work 15cm away if positioned right. Up until now I used mine just sitting in the table with the gun on a sand bag several cm above the unit. I just installed the newer bracket today. I’ll be posting a video on the bracket change shortly.
