The Diana Bandit is on my short list for a new PCP air pistol.

I've been Googling and reading airgun forums, but I can't seem to find information on a couple things.

Just wondering what if anything to use to cover the fill port on airguns like the Diana Stormrider and Bandit, that don't have a dust cover?

I found some aftermarket covers on a website in the UK, but shipping cost is going to be a killer. And I also found some on eBay USA but the seller won't ship to Canada.

I am also wondering if the front site blade on the bandit can be removed? Or barring that, sanded down if it's plastic?

It's plastic. You can remove it by drilling a hole in some wood the size of the barrel and then dropping the barrel down the hole and pulling on it from below til the sight pops off.
You'll have that whole section of barrel to deal with then because it's cut thinner than the rest of the barrel and has a flat on the bottom.

Lite on the Hatsan At44, just find a short piece of plastic rod or tube and push it in the filler hole. If you want to get fancy, cut a groove in it and fit an O ring. I just use a piece of plastic tubing. Works great.

Thank you for the ideas on the front site removal and the filler hole. Much appreciated!
