You win some, you lose some...

Whenever I'm in there, I always swing by the hunting section to see if there is anything interesting in liquidation. Seems like every few years they switch their main ammunition supplier from Winchester to Federal... each this happen, they'll have 12G 100rds/pack for a stupid low price...

@leadslinger Kinda like the day I got 3 new tires and had to go back in 2 weeks for the fourth tire. They did not realize they only had 3 tires for my truck till they went to install the forth. LOL

I find people expect more from CT.

I don't shop with them much, because I get tired of asking workers for a 1/4" IM fitting, or a wrench.. Because it is behind glass, and I then being escorted to the cashiers.

I see Cdn Tire changed the description on the website to 250, from 500.

https://www.canadiantire.ca/en/pdp/rws- ... p.html#srp

I suspect that will cover them now from any need to do price adjustment.

Did anyone get their local CT to adjust the price on their purchase of these pellets?

Thnaks.

Why on earth would CT sell them cheaper. They likely don't even realize what happened.

RWS HOBBY .177 CAL, 7.0GR for $9.99 for tins of 500. Then over a year ago they shipped me tins of 300. To this day they are $9.99 for tins of 300. The price is right. RWS just wants double the money for their pellets. Instead of raising price to $36 for 500 in .22 just half the amount of pellets and keep the price the same. Their marketing board must have told them it is a better way to do it.

I moved on to a new brand I was so disgusted with what they done with their .177 pellets. I still have 3 tins- 300 of Hobby .177 in my cupboard but refuse to shoot them in disgust over what they done and left no option in not ordering them to begin with had RWS been truthful about it. Shop around. There are still good cheap pellets around. :) CHEERS!

Whenever possible
- Buy it cheap, stack it deep... Because the price are most likely not going down.

As far as price creeping up, have bought yogourt lately?
- Used to be 1L container... the price as stayed the same, but we're down to 750g or even 650g container...

Same things with box of cookies, went from 300g, to 270g and we're down to 240...

-*-*-*-*-

Thus been said, I still think we're doing ok. With the current debt level, inflation (or hyper inflation) is bound to rear its ugly head soon enough.
