First of all, a shout out to the Grenville club for hosting the match and a big thank you to everyone that made it out to the last match of the season!

Turned out to be a fantastic weather day - sunny, reasonable temps and no rain!

We had 16 shooters, with 3 PCP and 13 Piston rigs! We're luvin' our springs :)

Shout out to Blane and Denis for taking their classes and Blane for the highest percentage!

Ryan gets special mention for bringing out 4 new shooters - awesome Ryan!

It was a great wrap to the season and even heard whispers of a winter shoot, so stay tuned.

Here are the results -

Well done guys. Looking at your weather report makes me wish I had been able to make it. Maybe next time.

Enjoyed the pictures. I was surprised to see no six feet apart or masks when they were close.

Hi Ed, glad that you liked the pictures! It was an awesome day and great shooting.

Thanks for your comment. Something to consider is that the pictures do not tell the complete story, specifically that we had five family members and several pairs of shooters that each came from their own social bubbles. We definitely emphasized the outdoor Covid requirements at the safety meeting and through out the day. Covid is something we all took seriously and at the same time we enjoyed the fantastic Fall day. Everyone was respectful and the day was successful.

Shoot often, shoot straight and be safe,

Shows one thing, an Optimus can out shoot a TX200, just saying.

You might think that based on the scores. What is missing from the sheet is that the Hunter Division scores were out of 120 and the WFTF and Open scores are out of 60. So basically add 60 points to any of the Open or WFTF scores and then you can compare.

Doh! Well, it was just a jab (joke) but still the Optimus at 51/120 (42%) beat three TX200 ....on percentage.

Comparing apples to oranges, that works. Comparing apples to apples with both using the same scoring, lowest TX 81/120 and Optimus 51/120, just saying. But the two classes cannot really be compared for a number of equipment differences and shooting aids allowed.

The Optimus did fine considering quite a new shooter and some technical problems with the gun that were dealt with on the fly. So I do get what you are saying.
