I'm having some trouble sighting in this pistol, it is shooting too high. I have the elevation at its maxed out setting. The gun was a refurb,no seals including the breach were left. I replaced all the seals including the breach seal along with 2 breach shims. I have noticed that the barrels is angled up a bit, exact opposite of droop.
My question is,if I add more breach shims can this be corrected?
I don't have anymore shims,so I'll have to make some,otherwise I'd try it.
It's shooting about 2 inches high from 10 meters.

For anyone that's interested,I removed 2 .007 breach shims and put a .021 shim in their place.
It made no real difference and after researching breach shimming I found that it's proper purpose is to seal the breach ONLY,not to change lock up on the barrel.
So what I came up with was to make a new front sight pin, longer than the original. Luckily the model10 has a removable front pin. This I feel is just a quick fix,I'll have to inspect the ball detent closer. The draw back to this fix is that now I cannot rotate the barrel sleeve to cock the pistol(pin is too long).
