I'm sad to see Sean Connery go but I'm glad he went to sleep.

Dad and I were watching his Bond films the day before he passed. Then I woke up, got ready to head home. He told me that Sean Connery has passed away.

I really liked him in the Rock, and the SNL Jeporday skit about him was super funny.

Very sad to hear.

I like him in these movies The Rock, Indiana Jones as Indy's Father, The Untouchables, The Rising Sun, Highlander, and mostly The Hunt for Red October.

Definitely give this one a watch, one of my all time favorite sci-fi movies.

Cheers,

Pistolero am/was right there with you. Connery and has always been my Fav. My wife is a huge Ian Fleming/Bond Fan ,has all the biographies, coffee table books etc, and a bunch of sealed first edition Ian Flemings, her parents found her in a used book store in Idaho lol. We of course have the movies and do the Ten days of Bond Christmas movie Marathon.
Many years ago I played a joke on my wife and had a co worker call her work and leave her a happy birthday message on her work voicemail. My co worker was a gifted voice actor and did a perfect Sean Connery to a T.Fyi I work in the film Industry and usually get to meet the Actors etc so to my wife it was believable that It could happen. I had told her he flew for 2 days for a cameo role on feature movie I was working on and he overhead me talking about her being a huge fan and that it was her birthday that day. I was able to dial in directly to her voicemail to leave the message without her phone ringing which made it easier. In the end she was so excited I never had the heart to tell her it was joke..
So she still thinks she got a happy birthday message from Sir Connery.

That's sweet! Sir Connery would be glad about leaving this moments to us...

Can't help thinking you would be the only one who don't want to drag the Mrs X into the airgun sport because she might have the chance to read and know about your sweet joke years ago~ [emoji38] :drinkers:
