Is there any domed .177 caliber pellets available in 4.54 head size ? I ran across lead round balls in that size but only interested in pellets.

Swaging your own, is all I could think of.

4.53 may have some inconstancy to have some at 4.54?

My BSA mercury has an over sized bore. I have JSB 4.53 and if I push one through the barrel the skirt gets resized but there is not no rifling engraving what so ever on the head. No even the smallest of indication that the head is making contact with the rifling.

Well I checked the slugged pellet that I pushed through and it is coming out the barrel at 4.45 so even though the head shows no engraving it is still making contact. So I guess all is ok .
