What distinguishes the 953 cadet over the regular 953? Just the sites and sling? The reason I ask is my 953 was purchased for $70.00 new 5 years ago, on sale of course. I think the regular price was around $120. LW barrel? Better trigger?

It only has the upgraded sights, which can be bought for $50-70. The 953 does not have LW barrel.

Originally this was the case and still is but also a popular option for the 10m sporter class which there are limited options. A pretty good plinker too.
