Never really set goals for the year. Highly doubtful I can do/or want to do the amount of shooting as I did in 2020. I do not think it is humanly possible to shoot more than 2020. Spent a ton of money on pellets/cardstock and printer ink. But I am on my way to shooting more in 2021,

Just hope this virus goes away in 2021.

Hope everyone is doing good and wishing everyone a good 2021.

CHEERS!

To pay attention to what I can control or change and not worry about what I cannot control or change.

I know there are bigger and more important things in life but I would really like to take some of my air guns out and shoot some cans.....a thing that seems impossible here in Ontario unless you own some land.

Unfortunately you are likely right. Got to have some crown land around you. We have allot of it around here where I live. Up in the air if I would want shoot pellet guns in my backyard. I shoot my bows in the backyard. When no discharge of weapons was brought in 200 club members filled council chambers and had "for hunting" added in so if police show up we can say "I am not hunting, I am target shooting." I still bowfishing off the harbour wall right in Town and have not been tried to shut down. "I am fishing, not hunting." I carry a copy of the discharge law in my phone. Call your Municipality and ask them where Crown land is or find a map. I would not even say you want to fire guns on it, but then I would go ask your local police about shooting guns there.

I also belong to our local gun club. New this year any visitors need their own insurance for being on the property. But can not shoot steel on the gun ranges but if under 500FPS you can shoot pellet guns anywhere on the property including steel. So I bought two .22 under 500FPS guns just for that. I can setup back in bush in 3D archery range area or out in the open field when bugs are bad in bush.

Setup in your house. When snow on my roof and below freezing, I do not open attic door, so my short range is 15 feet. I use my PA $39. air rifle and my pistols in a champion bullet trap and have some targets with tiny bullseyes. It is still fun. Nice thing of Champion bullet traps is they capture almost all pellets and debris. TV with jail broke Firestick, second laptop and electric fireplace in range and I spend most of my awake hours upstairs in my indoor pellet range. Some play video games and some of us do the real thing. I did add a second hobby in my indoor gun range. A Grow Tent. LOL

Good luck to you as one has to do what you gotta do. CHEERS!

@Wheeliehd, I’m sure where you are you have no problems finding some crown land to shoot, I’m just north of Toronto, I have no such luck, shooting in the basement gets old ii’d love to shoot out to 50-200yrds.

Anyway what can you do....having guns is a dirty word in these times.

I can fully understand that firearms make some people uncomfortable but that's their problem not mine. If we can't associate because of our differences in opinion then that's how it's going to be. I'm not going to feel bad when I am being fully respectful and lawful.
