This was like back in 2017 but only found out about it now. This can explain why SIG is now making their own airgun/airsoft products.

So I guess my P226 X-Five BB blowback pistol is now a collector's item.

At least KWC can made a quality working airgun product though. Sig on the other hand should stick to real steel firearms, or higher out a better agency to design and product their air guns.

Jason:

Sorry, but must disagree with you. I have both the Sig Sauer MPX & the M17. Bought the MPX new, and the M17 used. Am very happy with both. Use the MPX with both the 88/90 CO2 & 12 gm. CO2 with proper adapter. Getting around 350 shots with 88/90 gm. & 60 shots with 12 gm.

They key thing for proper operation on both guns is to ensure you use high quality flat head lighter pellets (7.4 gr. or less) and seat them properly in the belts. Using the tool provided with the MPX & your finger on the M17. My MPX is very accurate at 24 ft. M17 has average accuracy for a blowback CO2 pistol.

I had a KWC made Sig Sauer GSR 1911 non-blowback CO2 BB pistol. I got it in the surplus section at Princess Auto years ago. Uses the same stick mag as the XBG. Was never very impressed with it. It had a fairly heavy double action trigger. Is more of an entry level airgun. Eventually gave it away to my brother-in-law.

Fwiw. the kwc x5 is actually a very nice bb gun with both a light single and double action. Pretty accurate for a bbgun nothing like the gsr 1911 you are talking about .
