Good Day Folks. I'm looking for a quality gunsmith, who can really knows his way around airguns. Actually, I'd like one for my other guns [centerfire, rimfire, military, whatever] as well. Maybe it would be the same guy doing both, or maybe two different people. Although I live in southern Ontario, anywhere in Canada would suit me. We had a couple really top drawers gunsmiths, but sadly they both passed away, so it's left a real vacuum. I talk to my shooting buddies from Windsor to Toronto, and nobody seems to have a good lead anymore. This seems hard to believe to me. You'd think there'd be somebody out there. Currently I'm trying to get a couple of Walther air rifles worked on, but just try and find seals for vintage air guns [Model LG 53 or 55], let alone a good skilled gunsmith to work on them. Any leads would be appreciated. Thank you.

You may want to try http://www.vulcangun.com. While I live in Ottawa, I'm originally fro the Amherstbug area and was able to get them to make a new part for the rear sight on my Winchester 333 (Diana 66) air rifle as the part was no longer available. I was very satisfied with their work.

Thanks Bill. I'll give Nick at Vulcan a try. It never dawned on me that he might be able to replace a leather seal on my vintage LG 53 rifle, but hey, a gun is a gun, and he's pretty handy for sure. He just finished repairing an M1 carbine for me and it works great now. Thanks for the suggestion. Bruce.
