Welcome from Annapolis Valley
How popular are pellet guns here? I only see old Canadian tire ones people use for pest control although what I read says it is not allowed. Lol.
I am in Antigonish.
I mean probably every house here, has some sort of airgun.
Airguns are not on the approved list for small game in Nova Scotia, but it doesn't stop people from pesting with airguns.
Must be more popular there than here! It is kinda boonies here, I think they skip the pellet gun and give their kids 22s. I found 1 guy with a Diana after chatting him up that he has had for years and said he never used much. I think hes had it for over 10 years so much is relative. It looks like it is used a lot more than it sounds but I have no idea. It's rough from sitting for years.
Growing up they were common, it was nothing to see people in an open field with a pellet gun and target, but it was a different country.
I was told a story here that a guy that moved here from Europe went to the local park with a pellet gun and target, he was reported and arrested, his pellet gun was taken for ballistic testing and he got a fine. He doesn't play with a pellet gun anymore lol.
Now I wouldn't go to the local park but if it was in Cyprus where I grew up, no one would think anything of it lol. Maybe times have changed, I am not 14 anymore, I am in my 40s.
I live in the middle of nowhere, I can't see a neighbor in sight, and they won't hear a thing either, closest neighbor is like 1/2 a km away. I can't wait to start shooting soon. I hope I enjoy it as much as I used to.
