Yep... Just little by little, bit by bit, recently after working on the PS stock then I found the stock looks a bit tired on my HW35 too, I removed the stock and gave it a little wash with warm water and very light soap... After the makeup washed out, she just looks more tired and pale...

Long story short, she's bright and shiny again. With some lately add-ons, just beautiful.... ImageImageImageImage

Yes~ shoots very satisfyingl!

The previous owner took very good care of it and she's already a great shooter when she came home.

I tried a full power spring when I got my PAL but at the end putting back the old sub500 spring and added one washer. Finally tuned at 525fps using 13.73g H&N Sport wadcutter.

One hole accuracy in my basement when I did my part well all the time... Image

Very nice indeed. What distance do you shoot in your basement range?

9 yards..... :(

But the power of this 525 HW35 just prefect at this distance vs the compressed cans~

Lovely rifle ,
Awesome piece of Airgun history.
I just recently acquired an older HW80 in the classic caliber .177.
So, In love with airgunning again. I mean I shoot my Impact and Daystate etc. But the springers the good ones are different. A bit more satisfying . Now I know why. I love retro marvels of engineering like your HW35E and that's why I am looking for one that's already tuned.
Where could I get your safety catch in that style wow it looks beyond cool. I would like one on my HW80.
Cheers,
Captain Air
