My Colt Commander,

Although I'm not sure why they call it a commander with a 5" barrel.

I wish someone would make an actual commander (4.25" barrel)

Polished the slide, trigger, hammer, and sear.

Beautiful gun with those grips.
Where can I get a set like those ?
I need to play around with the grips as I like wood on 1911s
Captain Air
Thanks,

Hi Captain Air,

These are my favourite 1911 grips. Walnut, checkered, double-diamond and a Colt medallion. :D

I bought these grips on eBay, a couple of years ago. Unfortunately, there are not as many sellers, now.

You need to cut away some of the inside of the grip, in order to accomodate the CO2 bulb. A dremel works well.
