the other day i was wiping down my camo painted umarex walther cp99. all of a sudden-- it said to me ---"is it okay if my little brother-- cp88-- from alberta comes to live with us". well - i jumped out of my chair in amazement and thought what the "f". and i said "of course --you know any family of yours is mine too". he arrived yesterday. true story.

hey p. or any other cp 88 owners. how does yours puncture the co2 cartridge-- good or not so good. i find i don,t get a very good hole . i,ve tightened that screw up as much as is almost possible.i think i remember i had the same problem with my beretta 92fs . it had the same set up.i,m using daisy co2 cartridges.

I'm new to this stuff and I imagine this is known but just checking regarding that puncture question..The Daisy cartridges seem to be a liitle shorter than the Crosman. Seems like for the Daisy Winchester pistol I had to use a Daisy cartridge due to space. Could that affect your puncturing? if true.

thanks leon. that puncture looks pretty good. when i turn the screw i turn the co2 bulb at the same time. it sems to help get tighter. i might try again today too and take some pics. p.s. is that a bat ring your wearing.

i think they might be a bit shorter 4star. i used to use the crossmans all the time long before i got this gun. i switched to daisy co2. i was thinking of trying some umarex ones.

i took a close look at my piercing pin on a couple of my other guns and they looked like they all extended down a tiny bit past the seal or were more out in the open. on my cp 88 the pin looks almost flush with the seal. i wonder if all the cp88 pins are the same. i have a cheap flip phone with camera so any pics are kinda blurry.

cool we like it.-- . heres what my co2 looks like after coming outta the cp88. dam all i got is my cheap flip phone camera. pics are a bit blurry. any way the top is punctured but not as good as yours is. the foil covering is still there but just pushed down. i wonder if i could put a little shim under the co2 when i tighten it in. double click you can kind of see how it,s pushed down--- but does have a rip hole in it.
