I recently purchased the above rifle through the forum store. I bought the KT FSB PAL version.

I will not have anything really new to say about this rifle, that has not been stated before in numerous reviews.

I bought it in .177 as I did not have PAL multi-shot in that caliber.

What can I say? Well this thing is a tack driver. After fiddling a bit with the hammer spring and regulator I managed to get JSB 8.4 grains to shoot at approximately 880-890 fps. With this velocity it easily makes dime sized groups or less at 40 meters ( in a slight wind). With the stock cylinder I managed to get approx 55-60 shots on regulator with another 30 with virtually no point of impact change at 40 meters.

I ordered a Ratworks cylinder right after I purchased the rifle and it arrived the other day. With that cylinder I get close to 90 regulated shots and then another 30 or so with little point of impact change. Add to that the RW cylinder took 300grams off the rifle weight (10-11 oz).

Am I pleased with this rifle, you better believe it. This thing is an engineering marvel. I have a FX Streamline in .25, awesome rifle, but it is still a bit mechanical compared to the HW100. Weihrauch got this right the first time. The cocking action is smooth as silk with hardly any effort needed. The 14 shot magazines are simple and effective.

No you can not turn a knob adjust power on fly but in reality I never do that with my FX. It took a bit of time with the stock out of the action to adjust regulatoe and hammer spring but it was not difficult.

I absolutely love this thing and it shoots Roman hollow points relative well, good enough for plinking anyway and is a later with JSB 8.4s and 10.3s.

Here are a few pictures. I also put a biathlon lever on the cooking handle. Crazy how much more comfortable it makes the cocking action.

The picture of the shot group is one pellet for aim point and 13 remaining shots in one dime sized group at 40 meters, in a left to right wind

What surprises me the most about this rifle , is the fact that is has not been copied by anyone. Must have some serious patent protection . I love my 177 and at 13 FPE I get a pile of shots . Not to mention I can easily hand pump to refill in the field.

The best part is the pricing Dan is asking for these . If he has the laminate in .22 I’d have one of them also.

I agree. Until I shot one of these I did not understand the love that these rifles get. They may not be the newest of tech and have all the bells and whistles but man they just work. Super super accurate. Pretty good shot count at reasonable powers given the air cylinder size. No they are not the most powerful air rifle but mine shooting just below 900 fps is as fast as I would want a .177 to shoot. It is such a pleasure to use. Weihrauch put some serious thought into this when they designed it.

the B50 and B51 are not an HW 100 but its a pretty good low cost PCP if your just looking to
switch to the dark side...without the high price tag... 8)

Had Hatsan AT44's and BT65's. All great guns and super accurate. But compared to the Weihrauchs (have 2 - HW100 and HW98) the Hatsan's were like driving an old muscle car compared to a new European sports car. They are both fast and do what you need but one is just a lot more refined and efficient.

I have a HW100KT in .22 purchased from Hobbyman. The air cylinder was the shortest 190mm (105cc), so I don't expect too many shots.

It came as a non-PAL rifle (over 100 shots per fill). I adjusted the regulator pressure setting up and increased the hammer spring tension, per advise from Hobbyman. After some playing around with different settings and hundreds of test shots. Now, it is shooting JSB Exact RS accurately at 620 +/-5 fps and I get 80+ shots pet fill. Also, due to the small cylinder, it can be easily hand pumped.

It is a great rifle, I am totally happy with it.Image

My upgraded HW100 Tuning titanium cylinder is stuck in Customs for over a week already.[emoji24]

I just installed the HW100 Tuning titanium air cylinder on my KT. What a great piece of work. It looks completely factory except no markings at all. The rifle is now 1/2 lb lighter in the front. Much easier to handle.

I agree with everyone that this platform is great. Of course, It is not cheap, but as the saying goes, you always get what you paid for.

Easy to service, easy to tune. Super accuracy. Very nice rifles.

The .177 laminate at the CAF store will be my next target. Once I move out of the doghouse.[emoji12]

So I turned my hammer spring out a half turn the other day. I was noticing that my groups were better when just off the reg at 850-880 fps. The half turn brought it to 865-70 fps. But the group's are more consistent, if I am consistent. But that slight fps reduction got me to 120 shots or so on reg. What I find though with the new ratworks cylinder is that if I fill to 200 bar my initial magazine worth of shots shoots faster. If I fill to 190 or so it does not. So perhaps their pressure gauge is slightly off and their 200 bar is higher? Not sure. Anyway, with 120 reg shots or so I can afford to fill only to 190.
