I picked up all the bits and pieces to do this from Wes but I have run into a snag. I can't get it to hold pressure. The air leaks out the valve that is actuated by the trigger. I only have a hand pump and it leaks out almost as fast as I can pump it in. I have taken it apart and cleaned, checked and re-lubed many times but I still have this issue. I am pumping with the bolt cocked so as to relieve any pressure on the valve but....

The weird thing is that it didn't leak with the CO2 cartridges and the only part that got changed in the conversion of the valve was the front. :-?

If anyone is in the area of Kitchener/Waterloo/Cambridge and has a compressor or scuba bottle, maybe it just needs some pressure quicker than I can pump in order to seal the valve?

Your help is appreciated.

Thanks.

If I were you I'd fill it with co2, see if it holds. If it does, shoot it, let it sit whatever. Then try air again.
If it doesn't hold co2, my guess is the valve spring is either canted funny or missing. Could also have contaminant of some sort on the valve seat, so forcing it to take a seal might damage it more.

So... Let me rephrase that. If I were you I'd check that valve out.

If this particular gun doesn't have a valve seal or spring, my apologies, I'm not familiar with it personally.

Good luck!

Thanks. I did get some local help and the issue has been fixed. In the end, the main issue dealt with a missing o ring.
