Regarding the dovetail rail and the stop-pin, maybe you would check this kind of thing, a scope stopper or a rail riser... BKL makes a lot of different sizes and I just bought two from D&L's 'yard sale' site for very good price which still in delivery to me, just not sure if I got all of them and couldn't find it anymore...

A reference on Amazon so you can have more info to check it~

So I was all settled into a nice new WF600 with newly machined top hat and spring guide, that wanted to shoot straight. The trigger was improved but I was pulling to the right with it and needed to get it under control. That wasn’t going to happen until I made a stock extension. I had already done this for the Crosmen so I just whipped this one out for the WF. And I had lost confidence in the CP scope mounts, and no stop pin hole. So I ordered another one-piece mount, the same one that the rifle had thrown before. This one didn’t want to hold either. I carefully ground off some of the material from the bottom of the gripping edge and finished with a file. Problem solved. Now I could install it and mark the location to drill a hole in the receiver for the stop pin. For drilling, I removed all the internals and the trigger. I took this opportunity to compress the trigger spring to soften the pull. There’s my new spring guide.

Hey Rick, the depth of the cut for the stock screw looks good.

Looking in the piston you can see the new top hat and the liner seems happy. And looking from the bottom through the trigger subframe you can see the new stop pin hole. And it worked! I took some shots and made a couple scope adjustments. But I was tired and went to bed.

The next morning, I went to have a look at the rifle, and took 5 quick shots on the previous night’s page. I could hardly see it, I didn’t turn on the light. I was so stoked I twitched on the last shot. This one wants to stack them too.

Hey Steve.
That is awesome! You have made a really good shooter out the WF600.
Good work on the scope mount, and all of your other efforts.
Bravo, sir.

Thanks Rick. Yeah, I've smoothed out the WF a bit, I think it is a good shooter. But it seems that the more I learn, the more there is to learn yet. I've got to learn how to hold this thing, it's a little different than the Crosmen. Cheers

The factory spring in my WF600 does 460fps with 14.3gr pellets.
