A few months ago, there was a post about a slow air leak developing in the magazines for the DPMS.

A few weeks ago, one of the older DPMS magazines, developed a slow leak & would not stop the hissing, no matter how hard I tightened it down.

So I soaked the seal with Crosman Pellgun Oil & let it sit for a couple of days with the oil soaking into the seal.

Tried it again, and no air leak. And after a couple of uses, still no leak.

If your mag. has developed a leak, might want to try this.

That's great if it's the main cartridge seal. There's been plenty of valves inside the magazines that stick open. I had 3 that it happened to, finally got 2 more replaced, and have 2 that are okay if you heat them up first.

Quick fix on the stuck valve, lay in sun, place on heater, or use heat gun to warm it up inside and placing freshly oiled carts in while warm.
