Hello Nijababy,

A few years back a bunch of CAF members got together and purchased some Yong Heng HPA Compressors (https://www.paintballgear.ca/110v-adjus ... r-inflator) from Paintball Gear -mine has performed admirably filling a large Carbon Fibre Tank ever since -paid for itself many times over. Looks like there is a location in Edmonton -might be worth giving them a call. Another option is Amazon.ca (https://www.amazon.ca/Pressure-Electric ... 691&sr=8-2).

Although both come with a rudimentary air filter, you should really invest in one of these: (https://www.amazon.ca/Inflator-compress ... GL1Q&psc=1) -this is the proper type which separates the molecular sieve and moisture from coming in contact with the aluminum cylinder, thereby avoiding internal corrosion.

Undoubtedly there are many other options for both compressor and filtration, dependent on what your budget and expectations are. Hope this helps!

Cheers!

I do fill my SCBA CF tanks at Innovative fire and safety along 75th street. But sure good to have a big compressor capable to fill it.
I hava a Warrior and a GTX mini compressor from Wes. Warrior (my 1st purchase) for my 1L CF bottle that I bring to the field. The GTX I was thinking of using it to fill my SCBA, but have not tried it yet. Dont know if it is capable of filling the big tank.

Thank you very very much for your detailed message. I really appreciate it.

Do you happen to know who is selling this compressor in Edmonton?

For the compressor filter, the link you sent me is that a very good one or there are any better filters that you recommend?

Thanks

Hello Ninjababy,

You're most welcome!

The best HPA filter money can buy (IMHO) can be found here: post522047.html?hilit=brancato#p522047 -but be prepared, it will cost you a pretty penny!

Paint Ball Gear in Edmonton should stock the Yong Heng according to their web site: https://www.paintballgear.ca/Paintball-Gear-Stores

Cheers!
