Wish I were closer , I’d be happy to help. From everything I hear of the AA rifles they are quite simple in design and easy to work on. You might want to get in touch with Travis at Airgunsource.ca , see if he has a reseal kit for the rifle and take it on by yourself.

Sounds like I need to take a roadtrip to Ontario!

Upon examination of the drawings and lots of videos, I came to the same conclusion that this could be a DIY job. I began to take it apart and then got to a few rounded hex-key screws (not by my hand). :(

I've ordered replacement screws, and a firing pin kit (might as well), and a seal kit (that too).

When the parts come in I'll find a gunsmith to back out the bad screws... I don't want to mangle them with a screw extractor and make matters worse!

I contacted Logan Crawford of Crawford's Crosshairs Professional Gunsmithing in Airdrie, AB ...

- he has a backlog of work that runs until November
- he doesn't work on air guns

The fun continues!

If you have to ship it it really doesn't matter where it goes to within Canada it's pretty much the same price why not ship it to the best person able to fix it and not worry about it anymore

P.S. There are lots of people capable here in Alberta, but I guess they're all preoccupied with something else in life. Sorry.
