Wow totally disappointed from pyramid air. First off upon receiving the parcel it came with a hole in the box. After opening the already opened box and examining the barrel it was obvious they removed this barrel from a old hw 110 threw it in the box and shipped it to me. The front of the barrel had a huge gauge on the face of the moderator and matching vice grip impressions on the opposite shaft of the barrel. The threads were covered in old crusty lock tight that the factory puts on the barrel to keep it from unthreading once attached to the gun. Inside of the barrel was greasy and dirty as if it been used. And on top of it all the barrel wasn't even 30.5 inches that they told me it was but only 2 feet. Check out these pictures of the barrel I got for $400 CAD loool wttttfff

Did you send Pyramid Air those pictures? I'm interesting in how they would respond.

That's too bad and not a good way to ship such an expensive item... It's not a 2240 barrel ~

Did you file the claim and is it returnable to get refund? I don't think I will keep it...

I’m actually surprised you could order a barrel from PA. I have had a hard time getting barrels for the last few years due to ITAR regulations. If I could , I’d get a barrel from TJ’s rather than LW. Not that there’s anything wrong with the LW I just prefer the TJ’s and they have quite a variety of twist rates instead of the 1:17.7 LW offer across all calibers.

Good luck with that. I wouldn't hold my breath on the money return.
If it cost you $400.00, they must have charged about $200.00 US for the barrel.

That sucks hey.
I bought a barrel from them in 2008, a .177 qb78 Barrel.
Well the same story, damaged package, used barrel, and it ended up being .22. they said if I send it back they'd send a new one. Told them to pound it.

So after talking to them yesterday they had nothing arranged when I called back today....so after arguing with there supervisor they offered me 10$ in bulls eye bucks and reimburse me for shipping once they recieved it.
So nor a bad offer on there part there customer service seems slow and dont care about the problem.

Just doesn't sound like Pyramid, but then again, is anything like it was 6-12 months ago?

ya I mean there customer service was like talking to pizza hut management no discount offers or what ever to apologize on there part but instead a well what do you want me to do about it attitude towards it like i ordered a 20 dollar pizza or somthing....atleast they offered to reimburse me for shipping it back... :? and also I was thinking I'm not 100% sure but I know there was a time were hw 110 barrels were recalled for having a defective crown on the barrel were you attach the moderator or suppressor and I think that's what they tryed to sell me was one of these recalled barrels not a 100% sure but the moderator seems heavily locktighted to the front of the barrel as well....I'm going to try to unscrew it later

and ya I have had great experiences with pyramid air previous to this buying scopes and pellets but this was like dealing with a hole diffrent company

True for many companies - the whole landscape has changed. I ordered a big ticket item from Peavey Mart (what was TSC stores) and waited two weeks for it to arrive for curbside pickup. I was so relieved I went and got it and brought it home to find out it was a completely different (cheaper and not as powerful) model than what I ordered... that was a month ago, still waiting for the right one to be shipped to the store. And, of course somehow it's my fault! :ANAL: :axe:
Sorry off topic but I wanted to sympathize with you.
