I wanted to try PCP so I bought a QB Chief and a hand pump. From 1000psi to 2000psi takes about 55 pumps. Became no fun to shoot because of pumping so never shot it at all. After a year I bought a Scuba tank, drained a couple tanks and put gun away and it just sits to this day. Could not imagine hand pumping a 3000psi gun. Scuba tank will not work with a 3000psi gun Only PCP that I have any interest in now would be a 2000psi fill shooting under or right around 500FPS. Not even sure if that animal exists. I am a springer guy at heart but do like my QB78S. All that said I like the challenges that come with springers. To spent a ton of money just to shoot in the house at short range is pointless to me. Nice to have a variety of little cheaper airguns for my in house arcade. But saying this I have many other and different things to shoot outdoors which pellet guns are not one of them. Only you know what you want the gun to do. Good luck with your choosing the best PCP for you. CHEERS!

the whole way around it is buying correct stuff if you have money for it not alot of people dont reccomend the pump as it's time consuming and kills the fun of using your airgun
a proper pcp setup is

a compressor with a nice oil water filter to attach
a main bottle were you fill your gun from with proper fittings most of the fittings are just regular quick disconnect fittings and what ever fitting is recommended for your airgun.

I forget why but scuba tanks aren't the best bottle to buy for your airgun.
