Well... It took about two months to get delivered as in the same bag with something else I just ordered about two weeks ago...

That's so 'impressive' the logistics system 'knows' I would order something more and held my first order to wait for my second order and shipped them together to me.... (two different sellers and the other order are two carbon fiber tubes...)

Anyway, it looks nice and solid... A whole piece of solid metal frame, very heavy in the hand and you don't need to put much effort to hold the frame and can focus on pulling the rubber bands...

Yes, rubber bandS... The rubber band just very weak and as I ordered spare bands so I put two bands on and use together... Maybe 3 later if it's needed... Not sure if it's good or not about using the rubber bands like that... However I read somewhere before, ppl put two weaker main springs into the action and works like a stronger one is usable ~ [emoji38] 8-)

And I also bought a few bags of the 8mm ammo for it which claimed 500 pieces.

Everything costed a total of CAD 37$ and changes...

Any tricks on using a sling shot? How to aim? By practice and by feeling?? ImageImage

Watched Fowler's video, and learned some basic things... Likely I don't need to use the double bands and started practicing now ~

i almost bought one of these but changed my mind. i figured i would use it a few times and that would be it. so i passed. should be fun though. yep. after you use it for awhile you will figure out how to shoot good with it. i remember when we were kids -- we made our own out of tree branches and rubber tubes. we just shot stones with them but most of us were good shots with them.

Tried about 20 shots in the afternoon, and found out I can't use the method mentioned in the video to aim, that I will always shooting low... So I now use the rubber band tightening screw head to aim, although the left arm (upper arm) would cover the target, I can still guess where it is and can hit a poker card size target from about 5 meters away~

This thing is fun~ [emoji38] thinking I can take a short video that explode a shakes soda next time~

Yeah ~ remember this 'pocket shot' stuff too!

And I found some extra advantage of slingshot ~ I can shoot anything ~ and my cat looks like to chase the paper ball shot from my slingshot ~

Slingshots is another hobby I enjoy. Here is my latest purchase from an AliExpress dealer. It took about 5 weeks to arrive. This one is called Tianpeng.

You can also check out my slingshot page on Youtube.

[emoji38] nice~ glad to see you here too!

Watched some of your videos~ nice shooting!

And some quick noob questions here~

What's the purpose of fixing the latex band (I am thinking I should call it latex, not rubber, right?) not at its end but fold it for a little and tighten two layers at the frame?

And I found some other slingshots (usually with higher price) looks like yours, like a X with extended 'grips' not like the normal style like a Y... I considered those, but not sure the X shape would be comfortable or not... Any difference between these X and Y slingshots??

It protects the band against rubbing against the metal. It is using itself as a cushion
