I think that article is about right, he showed how much the power or velocity drop from new 30% loss after the first 200 pellets, this is normal as most of new springer, exception for Diana's, all my Diana's haven't drop in vel. yet and they're well over thousands pellets. Perhaps the springs were set at the factory.
